Beautiful Vintage-Inspired Lace A-line Wedding Dress
Amazing ethereal tulle dress with vintage lace top. Layers of soft, flowy, weighty tulle that make the dress look wonderful as you twirl.
From the designer: For the bride who loves the marriage of the past and present, we've got the perfect wedding dress. On top, vintage-inspired Tangee lace with a softly sloping, sweetheart neckline and illusion tulle straps. Below the waist, a soft netting skirt with a poly lining and a very modern spirit. The combination is effortless, especially when you finish the gown by tying it all together with a double-faced satin ribbon. The contrast of lace and the netting sweep train keep it among the favorites of our bridal collection.
I added a vintage-style belt with a tie-back bow that matches the underlining perfectly. Also INCLUDED, a hand-dyed veil to match the inner lining of the corset.
Condition: Some scuffs and marks on the underlining of the dress. Tulle in good condition. The rightmost bustle eye broke off of the first layer of tulle and created a small hole in tulle that the second layer (still attached to the bustle hook) is being pulled through. Dress back lays flat and bow covers bustle hooks/eyes when connected. Pictures included.
The amount of tulle and delicacy of the dress came to a very expensive tab to get professionally cleaned. The tailor-made a good point that the marks are on the underside of the dress, so they won’t be seen. The only time they might be would be for hanging dress photos. I reduced the cost of the dress accordingly to save us both a few hundred dollars (and that way if cleaning is super important to you, you can budget for it). This dress has so much beautiful and heavy tulle, I didn’t notice the dirt marks until I hung it back up.
Alterations: I am 5’4” and wore short heels. This dress was hemmed to be the perfect length for me. Altered and added a bustle. Bra cups were sewn into the dress so no bra is needed. My measurements:
