This dress is an exquisite, romantic, and timeless piece. I fell in love with her at Vera's bridal salon in Chicago and absolutely adored wearing her on my wedding day. This dress is a size 8 (bridal), I am a size 4 (street). Bust 34.5", A cup, 28" waist, 38" waist, 56.5" hollow to hem. I wore 2" heels on the wedding day. Note: It is Ivory (not white).
In typical Vera style, there are abundant ethereal layers of tissue organza tucked asymmetrically into an airy A-line silhouette. Layers of organza are lined with horsehair trim that lends flexible structure and beautiful flowing movement when in motion. She also has a built in corset with eye and hook bra strap so no need to fuss with undergarments. The dress will stay in place through the whole night of dancing! She zips up in the back for ease, but Vera added love knots for extra special detailing. The skirt layers become more symmetric in the back and form a lovely, tasteful short train. Erin features an organza flower corsage on the right waist. I wore a Vera organza flower sash in addition to add definition at the waist. It is sewed on but easy enough to detach! The original Erin also features a straight across strapless neckline, however I had mine altered into a semi-sweetheart.
All alterations were done with Vera Wang bridal salon's seamstresses, and the dress was beautifully cleaned and pressed by Davis Imperial Cleaners, recommended by the Vera Wang bridal salon. The dress looks like new! Put Erin on and you will feel like the stunning, elegant, and glamorous bride you already are.
