Beautiful Sparkly Lace and Paris Tulle Trumpet Wedding Dress with Off-The-Shoulder Sweetheart Neckline
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!!! Thank you for considering my beloved gown. This dress made me feel like absolute royalty on my wedding day. It was everything I had been looking for: romantic, vintage, elegant, flattering, and unique. The bead and lace work is remarkably detailed and exquisite (zoom in on pictures 3 and 4!). Guests were telling me all night they had never seen anything like it.
I did need to have several alterations done, and the seamstress was a legend. She even somehow managed to shorten the dress by detaching and RE-attaching the horsehair hem to the lace overlay while keeping the beadwork intact. I don’t know how she did it, but it looks flawless. Total alterations include: waist (taken in), straps (shortened), length (shortened), bust (taken in to prevent gapping), and added loops and buttons for the bustle. A bustle was not an original feature of this Sottero & Midgley design, but now you can shorten the train for your dance party! Happy to provide additional photos of that if you’d like to see how it looks.
If you are a street size 2-6, this will easily fit you with a few alterations. The dress has minimal give because of all the beading. I wore 2-inch block heels on my wedding day and am 5’6” without them.
Condition: The dress has been professionally cleaned and re-boxed by Happily Ever Dress Preservation (a trusted partner of the Knot.com), and has no stains or flaws in the fabric. The venue was entirely indoor w/ marble flooring, and photo shoots were indoor and in a garden with bricks, but there are zero tears/blemishes.
