Description of dress from designer: Two piece column gown features Alencon lace overlay and charmeuse slip. Lace overlay features a Queen Anne neckline and a high shear enclosed back by satin buttons. Charmeuse slip dress features spaghetti straps and a sweep length train.
Had this dress altered to my specifications (5'7.5" and 135 pounds) and it was taken in at the waist but not in the hips region. I am wearing flats in all the photos. A wonderful 3-hook bustle was also added (see in photos) by my seamstress that stayed put all night long. My seamstress reinforced all of the buttons and button-loops down the back so they do not get stretched out and will last a long time. There are a few threads of lace that could be snipped so they are not hanging and the hem of the charmeuse slip has pulled slightly. The dress is described as ivory.
