The dress is a sleeveless sweetheart neckline with a semi plunging back. It has a sewn-in bustier as well as a sewn-in elastic belt that helps hold the dress up (all that beautiful silk is slightly heavy). The dress then zips up first and then buttons up over top in the back. The train is a chapel length and bustles beautifully, and easily, with numbered ties underneath the train. In other words two ties with the same number tie together. The dress was immediately professionally cleaned and preserved the week after the wedding, and was only opened for the first time now to get the exact measurements. There is not a spot on the dress except a little dirt line on the bottom of the front hem. This is not seen from the front, but from the underside of the hem. The fit of the dress is form fitting to a little past the hips (I have a very short torso and this helped elongate my middle) with lovely ruching of the gorgeous silk around the hips and falls down into a flared shape. This Dress was bought from a bridal boutique in Pittsburgh called Anne Gregory. It is made from real italian silk. Because there is no such thing as white silk the dress is an ivory in color. The dress is ALL silk, there are no gems, embellishments, or embroidery on it.

This item is returnable as priced, less a $50 return fee. If using any promotional code for an additional % off, or you live outside the contiguous US, it will not be eligible for return. It is important to note that international buyers will be responsible for any import duties, taxes, or fees charged by their government via UPS upon arrival of the shipment.
