Beautiful Matte Crepe and Luxe Chiffon Strapless Fit and Flare Wedding Dress
I really enjoyed wearing this Jenny Yoo Bennett dress for my wedding in June 2023. I liked how, in spite of the affordable price, the fabric felt heavy and luxurious, and the shape of the gown exudes a sense of elegance and sophistication, making it perfect for the simple, classic bridal look that I was looking for. The sweetheart neckline offers a touch of femininity, and the delicate line of buttons on the back is also very elegant.
Condition: The dress has been dry cleaned (organic, at $200), and shows no stains and no tears. The zipper is fully functional, and all the buttons on the back are intact and in place. There are one tiny mark on the back, to the right of the button, as shown in one of the pictures (the other "spots" are removable and not actual marks). The dry cleaner used a safety pin to secure the very end of the train for hanging (see picture) so also expect a small hole the size of the pin once it's taken out of the end of the train.
Alterations: The dress has been altered (at $950), adding the following features:
Tuck In - Added tucks under the hip to emphasize the natural hip shape.
Hem - Adjusted the hem to the right length (the dress was super long when BHLDN shipped it to me).
Bustle - A bustle was created to lift and secure the train of the dress, which I used when sitting and walking, making it more convenient and easy to move around.
Bra Cups - Built-in bra cups were added for support and lift (these can be easily removed).
Sizing: The dress is a size 8 on the label and was alternated to a size 4 and below. I wear size 4 and sometimes 2 at the time of the wedding.
Designer Description: Fitted and fabulous, the Bennett’s matte crepe sculpts and cinches in all the right places. Add the detachable chiffon watteau when you’re feeling extra regal, and lose it when it’s time to dance!
