Beautiful Romantic Strapless Mermaid Wedding Dress
Gorgeous, iconic, Vera Wang dress - incredibly flattering, sultry, and very comfortable due to the phenomenal stretch mikado fabric and dramatic silk organza bottom. An absolute show stopper!!
This dress comes with two belts - the classic black from Vera Wang, and a beautifully beaded belt (see pictures).
The dress has extra padding stitched into the bust for extra lift, but can be easily removed (only secured with a couple of stitches on each side).
From the Designer: Ethel flirts by showcasing a mastery of cutting and folding. Each swirling tissue organza flange of the skirt is hand-cut. The manipulation of the layers of folded fabric, arranged skillfully, create depth and character in this dress. The look: incredibly romantic despite the lack of beading, lace, or petticoats. Additionally, Ethel is made of stretch Mikado, allowing innovation in form. The bodice of Ethel is a contrast – clean and structured – accentuated by a simple grosgrain sash. I chose grosgrain, rather than horsehair because of its classic elegance and subtly felt more appropriate for this wedding dress. The tightly woven, ribbed texture adds depth while remaining versatile to mood and occasion.
