Strapless Sweetheart Mermaid Wedding Dress
I love this dress because it has all the elements I wanted (beautiful luxe fabric, lace detail without looking too vintage, and a stunner of a train), it has a structured bodice and the ease of walking in the dress (the silhouette allows your feet to be free of any fabric which makes it easier to walk in.
From the designer: Lace on matte Mikado fabric along this sleek mermaid silhouette. An organza-based bodice adds structure with customized underlay so it is not sheer, highlighted with French laces and a mixture of sequins and artful beadwork. Asymmetrical laces then extend down the bodice and onto the hips, complemented by a delicate sweetheart neckline. The train extends into a full, laser-cut scalloped detail with an organza hem. Gown zips beneath fabric-covered buttons.
Alterations:
- Added custom lace straps for cap sleeves that are removable.
- The length of the dress was altered (I am 5'4 and wore 3-4 inches heels) and taken in at the waist.
The dress will come in the original boutique bag. Has been professionally cleaned.
