I picked this dress because 1) it looked awesome with my rose gold ring 2) it accentuated my waist and hips instead of hiding them! 3) COMFORT! The original size 12 dress was taken in at the bust and hips to fit my size 4 frame, and my seamstress kept the beautiful sweetheart neckline while taking it down on the sides (under arms) so that it would not rub me all night. So very comfortable! The weight was warm enough for the winter and a lot of fun to dance with. We did have a wet snow that night so the hem and underskirt has dirt stains. An easy clean, but it needs it nonetheless. The buttons all the way down the back made for such a beautiful train, and the zipper made getting it on quite easy. No steaming and minimal fluffing was needed throughout the night, it's low maintenance and high flexibility shocked me more than anything. I was a low drama bride, and this dress was the biggest part about the night for everyone, except for me! The sequins, tulle and lacework come off as classic, not flashy, and even with the wear of the night I had zero snags, tears or collateral damage to speak of.
