Beautiful Lace Cap-Sleeve Fit and Flare Wedding Dress
This dress is so unique and I have yet to attend a wedding with a similar style. It feels art deco without being costume-y, and the embroidery and beading sparkle when the light hits it.
The detailing is subtle but beautiful, and it was comfortable to wear all day. I loved that the train was noticeable, but wasn't too long and was easy to bustle. I felt like it accentuated all of my curves but was structured enough that I didn't need to wear shape-ware.
Before the wedding, the dress was altered:
- hemmed 1 inch (I am 5'8' and wore heels around 2in)
- a one-point American bustle was added
- the waist was let out about 1 in
- the shoulders were taken up
There were some loose threads on the wedding day, but they were repaired when the dress was cleaned. The dress was professionally cleaned and boxed immediately after the wedding day. The box has remained unopened since the cleaning.
