I loved the super flattering silhouette of the dress. I was hesitant to buy a strapless dress, fearing that I'd have to pull it up constantly. But all the advice was true--a well-made, well-fitting dress won't move, and it didn't!
The sweetheart neckline combined with the narrow waist was so slimming and lovely. I loved the fullness of the skirt, without being ballgown. The lace is just enough to give a lot of visual interest without being overwhelming. It also looks lovely from the back--just enough train, and with beautiful lace detail around the backline. This was wonderful for our outdoor, farm wedding, but could work equally well in a black-tie, indoor setting.
The dress was altered down to my size--taken in everywhere and shortened. Bra cups added. Ribbon sash added. French bustle added.
