Gorgeous Sleeveless Tulle Wedding Gown by Vera Wang
The dress has a fitted bodice with a very full ballgown skirt and train. There is ruching on the bodice, then the skirt is a bundle of tulle with tousled layers. I loved the neckline (I was trying to avoid a strapless dress, which was very difficult to do in 2015) I felt the dress was classic yet modern at the same time.
The dress has been professionally cleaned and boxed. Measurements are estimates based on the size I was for my wedding: I don't have exact measurements but at the time, I was a size 10 (the dress is a size 10).
Alterations:
- Hemmed: I'm 5'10" so the hem was very minor-I think just an inch or two.
- Bustle added: Don't remember the style but there are ties under the dress and it bunches up to blend in with the other layers.
- Some layers of tulle were removed from the skirt because I had attempted to have the seamstress add sheer sleeves, but it didn't look right.
- The side seams were let out.
- The original dress had a jeweled piece to the side of the waist and that was removed.
The veil pictured is INCLUDED with the purchase of the dress :).
