I bought this dress at Kleinfeld Bridal, the bridal store featured in "Say Yes to the Dress". It’s a size 12 but I normally wear between and 4 and 6. According to their website, the dress description is as follows: This sheath gown features a sweetheart neckline with a natural waist in alencon lace. It has a sweep train. It's absolutely stunning, not heavy and you can sit, dance, eat and stand very comfortably and the corset top and back keep you sucked in which makes it even more comfortable. The dress is actually a split size with a size 12 bust and size 14 waist & hips. I'm pretty thin but have a bit of athletic build but the lace up back should make this an easy dress that won't need alterations if your measurements are similar to mine. The first time I tried on my dress 1.5 months before the wedding there was more room to tie the corset. By the time I had dropped a few more inches on the day of the wedding I had tied it as tight as it would go so there is some room for flexibility. My chest is 34B and we put in some pads to help lift the "girls" so the sweetheart necklace could show off my clevage in a tasteful way. You can easily remove those pads if you don't need the help. The reason I chose this silouhette is because I have a nice shapely butt and I wanted to show that off, otherwise what's the point of doing all those squats!? I'm not saying this to flatter myself, I'm hoping it will help you understand why this may or may not be the perfect dress for you. I am 5'4" and wore 3" Stuart Weitzman NEARLYNUDE sandal and the hem of the dress graced the floor perfectly. I was so incredibly over-the-moon happy with this dress and it was way out of my price range which is why I want to sell it and recoup some of my losses. I originally went into Kleinfeld to try on various designers and styles to see what I liked and had intended on purchasing a previously-owned dress online. Once I saw the dress on my body though, I didn't want to take it off and purchased it on the spot. Don't do what I did, you're already smarter than me by reading this description so good for you. This dress is practically flawless, I took such good care of it the night of my wedding. No stains at all, I simply had some very light dirt on the bottom of the gown which came out easily when I had it cleaned. My friend did step on my train and ripped one of the bustle hoops but my bridesmaid simply put it on a different loop and no one ever noticed. None of the other bustle hoops were damaged and I danced until 4am without anyone ever stepping on it or spilling on me!
