Simple Classic Chic Crepe Fit and Flare Wedding Dress with Sparkly Beaded Belt
Brand new, unaltered, and ready to ship! This was my DREAM wedding dress; a designer gown that is absolutely timeless, comfortable, and gorgeous.
I tried on 5 dresses and this was the last. I wasn't even planning to find my dress that day - I had only planned to try on different styles and narrow it down to a general idea. When the consultant brought all 5 into the room my mom said "Oh I see one I like" and it was this one. The second I stepped into it I started saying "I like this one... I like this one..." and then totally had the crying moment with my mom and sister. Unfortunately due to COVID, we had to cancel our wedding and I need to sell the dress to cover financial losses. I was devastated because I have never felt more beautiful than in this dress but I am hoping another bride will feel the exact same way in it!
I had planned to maybe remove the cap sleeves and make it normal sleeveless straps and instead of a veil maybe add wing veils to the back of the straps. If you are curious about this let me know and I can send you photos. Otherwise, I planned to wear my hair in a loose chignon with a veil secured above the bun for the ceremony.
This dress is unique because it is SO comfortable and elegant. Seriously - the crepe is like butter and I was very nervous to wear something form-fitting but the fabric is so beautiful that it smooths everything out and hugs you in all the right places. I felt elegant, sexy but also classy. I had also planned to potentially cut the dress short afterward to wear for other events, anniversary dinners, etc., and use the bottom of the fabric to make a christening outfit or something for future children and an ornament for Christmas trees.
The measurements indicated on the listing are what I was measured on THAT day. I measured between a size 10 and 12. I am wearing a 10 in the photo but I ordered the 12 on the advice of the consultant so I had more room to make alterations. I normally wear a size 8 in other gowns/dresses. I am not wearing heels in the photo.
The dress retailed for $2,300 and then I paid a total of $2,455 with taxes. I am asking $2,200 since it is a brand new unaltered dress, and you won't have to wait the 8 months as I did to get the dress.
