Antique white color, silk, size 14, never altered, Worn once for a few hours. This dress is a simple, elegant dress with no beading or frills. It has a long, lean, sleek lines reminiscent of a 1930s dress with a stunning back and a small train that flatters your derriere. Think understated elegance. It has a wide waist band that reaches from just under your bust (the smallest part of most women) to the natural lower waist, making it very flattering. And it has a drape neck in a non-stretch silk that is good for disguising both large and small busts, which you can arrange to suit. The sleeves are sheer flutter sleeves with a narrow silk ribbon hem. There is slight soiling along the hem (see photo) that is to be expected in a long dress. If you have it altered, this part will get cut off anyway, but it will almost certainly come out if cleaned. So that you have a good idea of the fit, it is snug through the waist and hips, so you will want to wear spanx. The fabric stretches quite a bit, so the size range is flexible. I have a 36DDD/E bust, so I bought this size to accommodate the bust. I stand 5'8' in flats, and this dress was perfect length-wise. the fabric is top notch- 94% silk and 6% spandex. I looked at hundreds of dresses before buying this one and you almost cannot get this fabric in this price range. Almost all the dresses I saw were polyester or worse (and much more expensive) and this is lovely, thick and heavy silk with a beautiful hand. There are actually lots of photos of this dress online- pinterest and other sites, so you can see it on a human body. My photos do not do it justice. Just google "flutter sleeve stretch silk dress" and "Nicole Miller" and you should find it easily. And best of all, I am still happily married! So it is a lucky dress. It is no longer made. I WILL INCLUDE THE VEIL, WHICH MATCHES THE SLEEVES. THE VEIL IS NOT NICOLE MILLER.
