Elegant Minimalist Strapless A-Line Wedding Dress
This dress is a classic. I felt so beautiful and elegant on my wedding day and hope someone else can share the same magic!
This is a timeless a-line, silk satin dress with a sweetheart neckline. The bodice has gorgeous stitching that accentuates the waist. It's quite flattering.
The back closes with a line of pearl buttons (there is also an internal zipper which is not visible) and it bustles beautifully. The satin feels luxurious and it's a gorgeous ivory color.
Bonus: it's comfortable!
Alterations were minor. We took in the bust and the hips a tad and shortened it an inch or so.
Condition: This dress was professionally cleaned immediately after the wedding and it's been stored in a "museum-quality preservation" box since. It has no stains or visible signs of wear, not even on the bottom where it touched the ground. The dress has been stored for a long time, so it will need to be steamed to get rid of the wrinkles. But otherwise, it's in perfect condition.
I also have a Monique Lhuillier chapel-length Chantilly lace veil (original price $1090) that I would be willing to sell. The intricate detail of the lace in the veil made for a striking complement to the simplicity of the dress--together they were stunning!
