Melissa sweet designed a timeless and romantic gown that is very easy to wear, dance and walk.
This beautiful ivory gown only worn once has a gorgeous bustle and an easy zip button detail down the back. It is not restrictive and has a beautiful train that can be buttoned up in the back to create a bustle.
There is fabric underneath the dress just in case extra fabric is needed for a taller bride.
The dress was altered to fit at a size 2 in the bust, size 4, in the waist and a size 6 in the hips. According to the designer, they categorize this dress as a size 2. However, it was altered to fit a slightly more curvy figure.
It does have bra cups sewn in and does not require any other undergarments. Bride was 5’3 and wore 2-inch heels.
There a small yellow discoloration on the tummy/ hip - otherwise-it is in excellent condition has been professionally cleaned after wear. Very tips/end of bustle shows a stain from the ground- but unless someone’s looking under your dress no one will notice.
Purchased at Priscilla of Boston. This dress is what I wore on the happiest day of my life and I hope it brings the deepest sense of joy, fulfillment and love on your special day! I am open to offers, as well.
