Ines di Santo's "Spicy" gown is appropriately named and absolutely stunning. This sheath gown features a sleeveless plunging V-neck with a scalloped neckline and dramatic extended train in Chantilly lace over crepe with a scalloped hemline. More than one wedding guest commented that they wished they could go back and get married again in THIS dress.
I purchased it new from Nordstrom and only wore it for approximately 12 hours on my wedding day. The gown has been professionally cleaned and is in excellent condition aside from two very minor flaws:
- There is a tiny hole in the back (this was due to the seamstress accidentally catching one of the pins on the dress, the head seamstress at Nordstrom recommended not attempting to fix it and wearing it as is and it was absolutely fine to do this. You can only see this hole when the dress is hanging on the preservation form from the dry cleaners not when the dress is flat on your body.
- There is a loose bead on the top right shoulder.

Regarding alterations, while my waist measured into a size 6, my hips did not, so we went with a size 8, and the Nordstrom seamstress took the waist in. Also, I bustled it for the reception, so it's ready for that if you'd like to do the same. I'm 5'4'' and wore this dress with a Badgley Mischka 3.5'' wedge called "Romance." Veil included in purchase.

This item is returnable as priced, less a $50 return fee. If using any promotional code for an additional % off, or you live outside the contiguous US, it will not be eligible for return.
