Beaded Cap Sleeve Lace Plus Size Wedding Dress
The top of the dress was altered to create a unique old Hollywood appearance. The capped sleeves were drawn in and a diamond imitation brooch was added to each side. The low-cut v-neck was slightly drawn together for a more conservative style while remaining stunningly feminine. A French-style bustle was added to the dress for an elegant gathering of the train.
The original retail price is for the dress alone and does not include the redesign. Prior to alterations, measurements were: Size 18 W: Bust 45'', Waist 38 1/2 '', High Hip 45 3/4, Seat Circ (8'' below Waist) 47 1/2 and Length (hollow to hem) 59'' I do not recall any additional alterations done, only those listed.
I love this dress because it captures a little of old Hollywood with its gathered sleeves and diamond accents, the satin, and lace give it a soft vintage style, and the curves and dips of the dress define the very nature of what it feels like to be a woman.
When you try on the dress that speaks to your unique style and essence, that's when the magic of the day starts to happen. That's when you really start to feel like a bride <3.
