This dress was custom-designed and made by a local seamstress based on some dress pictures I had found and liked. The dress is ivory-colored with long sleeves and a court train. It has beautiful floral-inspired lace all-over. It has a high scoop illusion neckline, but the neckline is still low enough to accommodate a shorter necklace (as demonstrated in the photos). It has a fitted bodice (with whaleboning) with a sweetheart outline and then flares out into an A-line skirt. The skirt has 3 or 4 layers of petticoats and underskirts to help it keep its shape. There is a short zipper up to the low back, then buttons all the way to the top. There is no bustle.
The dress has only been worn once and was then professional cleaned twice. Since then, it has been kept in an acid-free container in a cool, dry place. There may be a few creases that would need to be steam-ironed out as a result of storage and shipping, but from our experience with it, you should be able to get it smooth with a few dedicated steaming sessions. There are a few threads loose here and there on the lace, some of which were actually already there when I first put it on.
The veil (which would be included!) is a simple elbow-length, two-tier veil with satin edging.
