Listing Picture Do's
Listing Picture Don'ts
-
USE NATURAL LIGHTING
Ample indirect natural lighting in your home is the best for taking pictures of your dress.
-
TAKE PICTURES AT NIGHT
Artificial light is bad - it can make your dress look yellow/discolored.
-
DE-CLUTTER
Keep the shot clean! Take photos of your dress hanging against a door, laying flat on your bed or even remove a picture from the wall and hang it from that nail.
-
COVER FACES
If you would like to stay anonymous we can neatly photoshop faces - just email us asking to do so!
-
SHOW IT OFF
Your gown is GORGEOUS and we want to see it all.
Include:
-
Full-Length Front & Back
Show the dress from top to hem, front and back.
-
Wedding Day Photos
Brides want to picture themselves in the dress, having pictures of someone wearing it is the BEST way to do this.
-
Details
Show off the AMAZING details of your gown that made you fall in love with it (neckline, belt, back, etc).
If your gown has blemishes - include them. Buyers are more likely to purchase gowns when they know exactly what to expect.
-
Full-Length Front & Back
-
AVOID THESE
Dresses presented in a beautiful way are going to attract more inquiries and potential buyers than dresses listed with poor quality images.
Don't Include:
-
Dress Purchase Receipts
We will request proof of purchase separately if we think it is necessary.
-
Marked Photos
Logos and watermarks make it difficult to appreciate the beauty of your dress.
-

This reduces the size and quality of your dress pictures.
-
