Never been worn to an event - which is a shame because this gown is perfection! It flows beautifully while still giving you a defined shape.
The Emma Gown is a beautiful A-line dress, with a silk crepe bodice and 100% silk charmeuse skirt. The structured sweetheart bodice and molded cups add a modern edge to an otherwise classic strapless silhouette. The color is a subtle off-white, with the underlining on the skirt a brighter white color for a lovely effect.
This is a sample I purchased directly from Alexandra Grecco. The dress was originally a size 6, but it didn’t fit me perfectly in the cups/bust, so I had it sized down to a 4.
Additional alterations:
- Hemmed to go down to my toes (I'm 5'5"!)
- Added straps
I also had it professionally cleaned :).
