This crisp taffeta ball gown is the epitome of bridal elegance, with illusion side cutouts and a soft square neckline bringing a touch of modernity. (Plus, it has pockets!)
I purchased this beautiful gown in August of 2020 for my 2021 wedding for $1,800 CAD.
There were so many things I loved about the gown: I love the timeless 90s vibe, the material, and the square neckline. But like many couples out there, we made a change of venue due to COVID. As a result, I went with a very casual gown. I love this gown and hope it will find a bride that suits it!
The dress was ordered in a bridal size 4 and has been taken in to fit my smaller frame. It probably fits more like a street 0-2 now.
- The length/hem was taken in as well. I am approx 5'5 and had it hemmed to wear a 2.5-3 inch heel.
- Cups have been added to fill out the chest a little more.
The dress is fitted through the bodice and loose in the skirt. There are 3 layers of crinoline that have not been altered. It also has POCKETS!!! The dress is very current and still on the BHLDN site!
