Classic yet simple sweetheart strapless, silk magnolia mermaid dress with hand-beaded silk flower tulle trumpet skirt. Additional tulle was added underneath the trumpet skirt to provide extra volume, however, the additional layer of fabric can easily be removed. The back of the dress scoops down about 6” below the sweetheart neckline. I wear size 4 clothing usually, however, the dress was ordered in a size 8 to accommodate for my C-cup bust and then tailored to fit my waist and hips. The dress is constructed with boning to ensure a smooth appearance and so that the top stays up, however, it was quite comfortable for the entire event including dancing. The inner boning layer of the dress is zipped up first before the outer layer of the dress is zipped up in the back. After my final fitting at the flagship Amsale / Kenneth Pool salon in New York City, I was told that I was the only person to order this dress and it was the only one that they made. It is therefore a custom made, one-of-a-kind dress which will not be seen on every other bride.
