This dress was cleaned and preserved in a keepsake box along with the veil. The dress did not have any damages to be repaired.
The veil is from Brides and Hairpins and is included with the sale of the dress. There were no damages to be repaired after the wedding.
I love that the dress showed off my waist and made me appear taller than I am. It's a conservative dress but has a slit on the left side that adds a little bit of fun. The lace on the dress is not itchy (I have ultra-sensitive skin and most of the dresses I tried made my skin itch but this one did not), the lace is also sturdy but flexible. Be aware that you should wear fashion tape to keep the fabric on your shoulders.
Long sleeve dresses can be hard to find even though they are back in style. I experienced both hot and cold/stormy weather on my wedding day and it was comfortable to wear in both climates. I LOVED the way this dress moved and flowed against my body.
I did not have any alterations made to the dress with the exception of the length (I'm 5'3" and wore 1.5" heels) and sleeve length.
The sizing on my order contract paperwork is:

This item is returnable as priced, less a $50 return fee. If using any promotional code for an additional % off, or you live outside the contiguous US, it will not be eligible for return. It is important to note that international buyers will be responsible for any import duties, taxes, or fees charged by their government via UPS upon arrival of the shipment.
