The first time I put this dress on my inner Beyoncé was revealed! I was in love and couldn’t wait to prance around my reception in this fun, flirty dress.
Designer's description: This playful mini is inspired by the iconic fabric treatments and techniques of Vera Wang's namesake couture line. Featuring a draped tulle bodice with subtle illusion detail at the neckline and a 3D floral skirt, this flirty dress is perfect for the bride looking to make a style statement at her ceremony, City Hall elopement, or reception.
This dress underwent some alterations but I have never worn it, as my reception was first rescheduled and eventually canceled, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Alterations include:
- skirt brought in some (to fit tighter),
- top let out some
- built-in bra
- thin straps added (the straps can be used or not)
16w dress altered to fit 44 bust, 41 waists, 44.5 hips.
I planned on wearing my wedding shoes to start and switching to white blinged-out converse later in the evening.
