Gorgeous Beaded Lace Fit and Flare Wedding Dress
What a beautiful gown! I said yes to this dress, but was then gifted a gown by my mother and decided to go with that one.
The gown is ivory with beading. It’s fit and flare, with a nice full bottom. I love the low cut with an ivory modesty panel. It has a zipper back lined with buttons. My favorite part about the dress is that is was so comfortable- not too heavy, no itchy lace, and soft satin lining.
I am typically a street size 2 or 4 (I have a full bust with a tiny waist). This dress is a size 10, and I did have it clipped a lot in the back.
There are a few minor repairs that will require light work from a seamstress or expert sewer. There are a few loose threads and snags on the beading that could easily be fixed, and seams near the zipper are starting to rip and will need some reinforcements. The dress could use a good cleaning to care for small areas of dirt on the back and on the hem. But it’s ultimately in good condition, and was actually a newer sample.
