The Monique Lhuillier Secret Garden gown is a magical ballgown made of silk organza. The ruched off-the-shoulder bodice is a subtle complement to the rosette and dramatic skirt.
It was altered to allow for sleeves for the ceremony but they can be easily removed without disturbing the original dress. Although very voluminous, the gown is very lightweight yet grand in all its glory. I wore a petticoat underneath for the pictures and ceremony and once removed, it was less poofy and is light and easy for dancing.
This gown was not shortened from the bottom. It was slightly tacked up from the middle section and it is easily adjustable for length. The train can be easily bustled for dancing.
