LINEAR BEADED FIT AND FLARE DRESS WITH DETACHABLE CAPE
I absolutely am in love with this dress, it reminds me so much of a Great Gatsby theme!
Designer's description: Couture elegance: this fit and flare gown and cape are impeccably finished with hand beading over Chantilly lace paired with a sweetheart neckline. A clean back zipper gives way to the chapel length train.
Alterations made to the gown: The cape of the dress was made to be part of my neckline and straps. I altered the dress to be more of a mermaid style rather than a fit and flare. I added paddings to the breast area. I also added more tulle underneath the dress to make it more flare. I also added a loop to attach to the button (to bustle the skirt) but it broke off and that's where there is a tiny hole. Beadings were added to the dress since many were missing when I purchased it.
Here are the imperfections:
- Few beadings missing from the shoulder.
- Small tear on the back of the dress (see picture on the listing).
- The bottom of the dress on the silk part (doesn’t show unless you look underneath the lace layer) is dirty but this should go away with dry clean.
I’m 5’2 in height and wore 5” heels with it!
