Beautiful Sparkling Ball Gown Wedding Dress

This was my dream dress and lived up to all my expectations. It was fun, looked amazing, and gave a bit of whimsy to our wedding. I love that it doesn't look like other gowns. So unique and the color is very flattering if you have a lighter skin tone as I do.

The official color is sandwashed orchid caviar. It is a ball gown, with an illusion neckline, sweetheart lining and modern strap detail at back There is a full floral skirt with layered ivory organza.

This dress is stunning and could be made more or less traditional depending on the accessories. I wore a headpiece and had a loose organic hairstyle which made the dress less formal looking. However, it would look stunning with a long veil and long earrings.

This dress had a custom length of 56" from Hollow to Hem (the hem has not been altered in any way). I am 5'6" and wore it with a 1.5" heel and it was the perfect length.

The dress has a lovely structure and shimmers under the light because of small sparkles and beads. It is organic-looking because of the asymmetrical skirt, I think that also makes it look very fresh and fun.

The list price for this gown is $3,365.00 and I had to pay an additional $200 fee for sizes 20 and up. I am an athletic build with larger shoulders and bust so I needed to size up to up.

My measurements are 36/38 DDD bust, 32 waist, 42 hips.
The Size Chart for the Blush Line shows the 20 being 44", 36", 46" - a bit larger than my sizing but it looked nice so I did not have any major alterations done. The straps had a quarter-inch taken off, but were still a bit long, as you can see the bodice sits a tad low on me. One small dart tuck was done under each arm to make the armpits a bit more fitted (about 1/8" on each side)

Lightly used for our 4 hr event. Was bustled for 3.5 hours of the event. When I brought it to the local cleaner they suggested leaving it as is because there were only a couple of very small marks on the underskirts, none of which would really be seen when the dress was on. They were concerned that the beading and glitter might be impacted by the cleaning. I can have it cleaned if that is something the buyer would like me to do. I hope this dress can have a second life and make another bride happy on their wedding day.
