Romantic Beaded Bodice Fit and Flare Wedding Dress
This beautiful gown has a relaxed fit and flare sort of fit - slightly more fitted at the hips. It has a long train and buttons were added to the inside of the dress to create a French bustle.
The dress was ordered in a size 12 European dress size (approximately US size 10) and was taken in slightly in the torso and hemmed slightly (about 1-2 inches), for reference I am 5’4” and wore 2 1/2 inch heels. The original straps were unfortunately cut off by the tailor, however, they were very thin and loose and could easily/affordable be replicated. We had 2 small buttons sewn inside so we could attach some tulle sleeves to hang off my shoulders and create a more elegant look.
The dress is stunning and has immaculate beading at the top, one of the main reasons I chose to buy it! The crepe material combined with the train does make it feel heavy, however as long as you have everything secured up top it’s not a problem. This dress is gorgeous and I hope it can find a new home with another beautiful bride!
