Brand new Daughters of Simone dress made exclusively for BHLDN with tags still on it. Ordered online directly from BHLDN after trying on the gown in their Manhattan showroom location. The gown is in mint condition and comes with the fully enclosed original BHLDN garment bag and hanger. It's made from a beautiful lace and perfect for a boho, romantic style wedding. Unfortunately, the only reason why I'm selling it is because I fell in love with the dress, bought the dress way before we decided on the wedding location (rookie mistake), and it now no longer fits with the theme / style of our wedding. BHLDN also has a strict policy of no returns after 30 days of purchasing a wedding dress and I bought this dress last June so I'm now left with this perfect dress hanging in my closet.My seamstress estimated the alterations to be between $350-$400, (see suggested alterations below.) I am also factoring in the cost of shipping, hence lowering the retail price by a total of $200. Your wedding is a special day and I understand that many of us brides want things to be as picture perfect as possible. Hoping this beautiful gown gets to be worn for someone's big day soon! I have tried on the dress twice (for a total of 5 minutes each time) in the last 6 months. Once to try on the dress and take photos, (as seen above), and the second to bring to a seamstress to confirm alterations that would be needed. I am 5' 3" and weigh 118lbs and this dress fit me like a glove - it was extremely comfortable to sit in and move around in which was a key selling point for me. The only alterations that my seamstress would have had to make was: 1.) trim the hem, 2.) take in the sleeves and 3.) remove additional fabric (i.e. the lining under the lace) at the waist where it bunched a little since I'm short - all minor adjustments if you have a great seamstress!
Once you have placed your order the Seller will be notified. Nearly Newlywed will then check that the dress is authentic and matches to the seller's description. The item will then be shipped to you upon approval. Please allow up to 2-3 weeks for delivery.
This item is returnable as priced, less a $50 return fee. If using any promotional code for an additional % off, or you live outside the contiguous US, it will not be eligible for return. It is important to note that international buyers will be responsible for any import duties, taxes, or fees charged by their government via UPS upon arrival of the shipment.
