Beautiful Strapless Sweetheart Sheath Wedding Dress
Style: I instantly fell in love with this dress and knew it was "the one" because of the bodice. The shape of the gathered fabric detail is so unique and the built-in bra feature was super comfortable and easy to wear. The skirt is soft and flowing and the multiple layers of silk chiffon fabric give it just the right amount of weight. It was the elegant and romantic style I was looking for.
Fit: The dress is strapless and is held in place with a built-in bra (I'm size 32B) that has 4 secure hooks in the back. The bodice has structure to it and and fit me closely so that my waist supported the weight of the dress. I am just over 5'1'' and I wore 3.5" heels in the wedding photos.
Alterations: Hemmed to leave a small train. No bustle. Taken in at the waist for a snug fit.
Other features: See photos for the included detached sleeves which were custom made from the extra skirt material. They do not attach to the dress, and I used fashion tape to secure them to my upper arm. Inside the back of the dress, the seamstress also sewed in loops to feed the bra buckles through so that the bra stayed in place with the open back.
