Ivory, trumpet, full length, corset bodied with elegant cap sleeves. Simple structured, modern, silk faille wedding dress. Clean lines from the sweetheart neckline, corset shape, and silk faille curved piping on bodice create an elongated line. The trumpet train is structured and dimensional-- beautiful when fully let out-- commanding without being unweildy-- but also very interesting dimensional lines when bustled, while still being light and manageable to dance. I purchased a beautiful embroidered veil that I then had made into elegant, soft cap sleeves (they are removable!). They hid any possible overlay from the tight bodice. The veil fabric was also used to create additional detail along the edge of the train so that it would feel cohesive and a little more festive. Has 3 very sturdy bustle ties. Purchased at Mark Ingram earlier this year and their seamstresses did the sleeve/train detailing. Other alterations were minimal as I am a standard street size 6 (recommended to purchase a wedding size 10). I will pay for top of the line dry cleaning.
