Elegant Chic Silk Dupioni Illusion Sweetheart Trumpet Wedding Dress with Sparkly Beaded Details
This Lazaro gown has so much pizazz! I fell in love with all of the design features that make this gown so unique -- especially the gorgeous silver embroidery and beading throughout the dress and the sheer neckline and back. It manages to be intricate and to catch the light without being over-the-top or sparkly. It balances a tasteful, classic look with an unforgettable edge.
As you can see from the photo, it bustles beautifully. Since I only wore it to two fittings, the dress is in perfect condition. The alterations were minimal. The seamstress took 3 inches off of the front hem of the dress, and to keep the pattern intact, she re-stitched the embroidery and beading by hand. During try-ons, my skin kept getting irritated under the straps around my collarbone, so she added a tiny (invisible) piece of fabric underneath as a buffer, and it worked like a charm. She also added padded cups to the bust (which could easily be removed).
