Satin Mermaid Wedding Dress Accented with Apron Tulle and Organza Skirt
The perfect elegant strapless dress for your dreamy special day! I was initially not considering strapless dresses until I tried on Justin Alexander strapless dresses which have an inner strap (similar to a bra) that keeps you feeling super secure with no slipping down. I fell in love with the super flattering form-fitting top with a pop of glamor with the tulle bottom. I have never felt more beautiful on my wedding day and my wedding dress was a huge part of that.
Alterations & Fit
This dress came with a train, but we felt the dress was enough of a statement and opted to remove the train. This helped make the dress super easy to dance the night away in and no bustling after the ceremony was needed! The dress was taken in very slightly around the waist to get that very form-fitting look, but other than those two things no alterations. I'm very tall 5'10" so would work well for any height that tall or shorter (as it could be easily hemmed to be shorter).
Condition
The dress is in superb condition and has been professionally cleaned! The only signals of wear are on some of the very inner layers of tulle at the bottom where they were hitting the floor, but this would never be seen while wearing and would be cut off if the dress was being hemmed shorter. On the left (back) side there is a very small area (couple inches) where some threads look pulled. I'm thinking this is likely from my bouquet rubbing here. This would be completely unnoticeable in almost all scenarios (you'd have to be within a foot in bright light to see). I only even noticed it as I meticulously when over the dress looking over every inch of it for any signs of wear.
