Jenny Packham 'Marina'

This is a Jenny Packham Marina Wedding Dress in an off-white/ivory. It is a light and effortless dress that is beautifully whimsical. The dress consists of two layers-- the under dress which is an off-white silk, and the outer dress which is the tulle, beaded layer. The dress has a sweet, vintage v-neck and cap sleeves. The beading is silvery-gold and does not feel heavy. I absolutely loved this dress and felt like the most beautiful version of myself in it on my wedding day. I considered dying it and keeping it as a formal dress, but as I don't often attend formal functions... I am selling it. I hope the next bride to celebrate in it loves this dress as much as I do! Description of Alterations and Minor Wear: 1) The under dress was shortened to be tea length, so my legs are visible under the outer dress. This cannot be undone as fabric was removed. 2) The outer dress was slightly shortened as I decided against heels, so the beading/sequins in the hem had to be cut off and re-sewn onto the new bottom hem of the dress. This cannot be undone as fabric was removed. 3) After wearing this dress through the ceremony and reception, the hem caught and was pulled on in three places that I have noticed. Photos of these areas are included. It is not noticeable when wearing the dress, but a new buyer may want to have it fixed. I believe this is normal wear and tear of such a delicate fabric. 4) Down the back of the dress there are a few buttons above the zipper. The top button came off before my wedding and our seamstress replaced it with a button that looks different, but still matches the overall dress. I included a photo of this different top button. 5) The waist was taken in slightly to accommodate my waste. (See my measurements in the description section.) 6) The shoulders were moved up slightly to accommodate my bust. (See my measurements in the description section.) 7) There are some small holes in the outer tulle dress towards the top middle of the dress. You cannot tell this when the dress is on and over the under layer. However, you can tell if you pull the tulle away from the under layer. I included a photo of the tulle over my hand so you can see the holes, and a photo of the middle of the dress with the tulle over the under dress (where you cannot tell there are a few small holes). My measurements are--Bust 31, Narrowest part of Waste 25.5, Hips 37, Hallow to Hem 57, Height 5' 9.25" with shoes. This website would not quite let me choose these options.
