Classic Simple Custom A-Line Wedding Dress
This dress has good juju - I wore it to my wedding 23 years ago and I'm still married!
It was originally a size 10 and I had the waist taken in 1/2". It is very high-quality silk - hand-made by a bridal shop in Manhattan that is no longer there - with tons of tulle underneath to make it an A-line gown like one of the Disney Princesses would wear. The hand-sewn bodice beading is simple but sophisticated with daisies that shimmer in the light. The neckline is a V and the shoulders sit wide so it's almost off the shoulder (I liked that look but wanted to be able to lift my arms up to dance). This dress was so comfortable I didn't want to take it off at the end of the night. There are beautiful silk buttons covering a zipper on the back
I haven't dry cleaned it because I thought the purchaser may prefer to do that. I stand 5'11 so this dress works for a taller bride or you can have it altered for a shorter bride.
I am only selling this dress because it brought me so much joy that I want to share that with someone else. I paid over $10,000 for this dress (it was a major splurge) and I would only charge $1000 because I want another bride to feel as beautiful in this gown as I did!
