Beautiful Elegant Simple Strapless Ball Gown Wedding Dress with Detailed Embroidery
The Carolina Herrera "Manuella" dress is a strapless drop-waist silk Mikado ballgown with floral threadwork embroidery.
I loved the smooth lines of the drop-waist. The luxurious fabric has great attention to detail with elegant embroidery.
Alterations: 1 foot was removed from the back train. The train still holds a high impact as you can see from the pictures. A bustle was added. An extra belt-clasp was added inside the dress to ensure it stayed in place while dancing. This made it incredibly comfortable to move in without any slippage of the bodice. Cups were also sewn into the dress. The dress was shortened to allow for my 5'4" frame with additional 2.5" inches with heels. The hem can be let down if you need more length, see attached picture. One layer of tulle was removed from the inside of the ballgown skirt.
Note: the inner tulle layer of the ballgown skirt is a separate piece and is removable.
