    • The Nearly Newlywed experience is unparalleled in service, selection, and success, for our buyers and our sellers. Plus, it is easy and painless. Nearly Newlywed does the work and removes the risk.
  • How long will it take for my dress to sell?
    • We do our best to showcase new dresses on a changing basis, so that your dress gets maximum exposure on our online boutique, as well as our social media outlets like pinterest, facebook, and twitter. If Nearly Newlywed accepts your dress to the boutique, we believe that it will sell and sell within a few months, but there is no guarantee on the time period or that it will sell. Many factors including price, timing, size, and style impact the amount of time it takes a dress to be found by the right bride.
  • How much do you charge to sell my dress?
    • We charge initial listing fees for inclusion in our Boutique Listings or Showroom. Boutique Listings are $25 upfront and Showroom Inclusion is $100 upfront. When the dress sells, Nearly Newlywed takes a consignment of the sale and then sends the majority of the profit to you. For a boutique listing, you receive 75% of the sale price. For Showroom dresses, you receive 65% of the sale price.
  • How much will I receive for selling my dress?
    • We charge a flat consignment rate for showroom dresses and another for listed dresses. For a limited time our full service showroom consignment rate is 65/35, which means you will receive 65% of the profit of the sale when your dress sells. For listed dresses, you will receive 75% of the dress final sale price. We found that many of our competitors charge rates of 50/50, so we pride ourselves on being as competitive as possible. We want you to benefit the most from selling your dress and to feel good about it.
  • What happens if my dress is returned?
    • We handle all costs associated with the shipping and handling of returned items! You are only responsible for shipments to Nearly Newlywed.
  • Why should I sell my dress?
    • Deciding to sell your wedding dress is a personal choice. We think that for the modern bride, it is a great option to pass along a dress to another lucky bride after the big day. Many brides have told us that they were uncertain or felt anxious about selling their dress, but once they let it go, they felt happier, lighter, and excited to share their dress with a bride just like them. Selling your wedding dress after you are finished with it is also a green option and helps recover some of the original investment that was spent on your wedding. Brides have told us that they were happy to see the dress go since they already have photos to remember their wedding day, and many have used the profit made from their dress sale to take a second honeymoon or buy a new, fancy anniversary dress.
