Beautiful Sleeveless Glitter Tulle Ball Gown with Ruffle Skirt and Plunging V-Neckline
The back has a zipper to the lower V, the rest is button up. My inner romantic is a Jane Austen character so that's why I love the dress. The traditional, feminine shape and movement of the dress with sparkle was my favorite. The tulle is sparkly as well. I hope you feel as much like a princess as me.
Alterations & Sizing: The dress is a size 26. I measured 48.5" bust, 44.5" waist, and 48" hips at the time of purchase. I have a long torso and short legs, my height is 5'1". I was about 230 lbs at the time of my purchase as well. The dress was altered to fit the bodice to my broad shoulders and my natural waist. The shoulder straps were pulled in and up. A layer of tulle was removed because my wedding was in Jamaica (a hot, humid climate). At the bottom, the crinoline was taken up for my height - about 3". I wore sneakers for wedding shoes. The dress does NOT have a way to pin up the train, we fashioned that on our own. I also had the bra cups and illusion mesh changed to a darker color to match my skin tone rather than the ivory that came on the original design.
Condition: There are small amounts of beads that have come loose on the shoulder. I only wore the dress for about 90 minutes.
Designer Description: Be playful in this feminine and sparkling ruffled ball gown. It's created with a plunging V-neckline, thin straps, and a V-back. The bodice is embellished with embroidery blending pearls, crystals, and tonal beading. A sequin tulle underlay adds allover sparkle while each tier of the skirt is defined with horsehair trim at the edge. It's complete with covered buttons down the back and a chapel length train.
