Elegant & Modest Short Sleeve Bodysuit with Slim A-Line Skirt
The Taylor skirt is elegant and refined, with a high slit, pockets, and a beautiful train. I love how graceful it looks. The Clarissa point d’esprit floral top is a short-sleeved bodysuit in Spanish tulle with buttons all the way up the back.
Sizing: There is not an actual “street” or “label” size because measurements were taken when I selected it and it is custom sizing. I put size 2 because that’s what size I wore at the time.
Alterations: Length was taken off the skirt in the front so that it fell at the right height for 5’7.5 (my height in 2.5” heels). We added a French bustle and hooks inside the waistline to attach it to the bodysuit. The collar of the bodysuit was taken down a little bit to show the collarbone. Cups were added so a bra isn’t needed.
I changed into a different dress for the reception, so this ensemble was only worn for about 2 hours—for pre-ceremony photos, the ceremony, and photos after the ceremony. It was professionally cleaned.
