Welcome to Nearly Newlywed, the destination for modern brides to buy, try, and sell the very best 'nearly new' dresses for their big day.

I decided to create Nearly Newlywed while planning my own wedding. After visiting bridal boutiques and designer flagships, purchasing a sample dress at Saks on impulse and trying desperately to resell it, and finally flying to Atlanta to purchase a Vera Wang from a former bride  (which I ended up wearing and loving!) I decided that there had to be a better, more enjoyable way.

My wedding was just as I had imagined, I married my husband in the Vera Wang Diana gown and danced the night away in a once worn Carolina Herrera red number. And after the big day, I passed along the Vera to another beautiful bride, who went on to have her own perfect day. If that wasn't enough, StyleMePretty featured my wedding photos, so I know that every bride can have it all.

I hope to contribute to that type of experience for girls that visit the boutique, and to create a simple and fun shopping experience, where every dress you look at is better than the last.
